About Heritage Prairie Farm
FROM OUR FIELDS TO YOU
Located on the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois — near Elburn, Geneva, St. Charles — our local farm has been providing organic produce and microgreens to restaurants and the community since 2006.
Heritage Prairie Farm is home to a variety of local and Certified Organic goods. from our Organic Vegetables and Microgreens. Vegetables are available according to the seasonality of the farm. For example, leafy greens in the spring, tomatoes in the summer, and beets in the fall. We are a four-seasons farm, meaning we are able to continue growing produce inside our greenhouses even throughout the winter months.
We have reshaped and expanded our offerings over the years, and continue to grow & change. Currently you can find us this year at the Wheaton French Market & Downtown Elgin Farmers Market.
OUR STORY
From humble beginnings and big dreams, our story started in the soil we go back to every day. Although our farm story continues to flourish, we are proud of our many accomplishments. In just a few years Heritage Prairie Farm went from Certified Naturally Grown to USDA Certified Organic. We are proud to grow our produce in a sustainable and efficient way — always giving back to Mother Nature for giving so much to us.
As we continue our story, it is our hope to continually give back to our community. Whether it’s a wedding or a farm dinner, farm-to-table event or class at the farm, we truly love to share our USDA Certified Organic produce with those around us.
Our outdoor wedding venue holds wide acclaim throughout the entire Chicagoland area. The Knot, Wedding Wire, and The Venue Report have all featured the many farm weddings at Heritage Prairie Farm.
Our desire to innovate our monthly Farm Dinners leads to many partnerships with local breweries, distilleries, and unique vendors. But, no matter what, the root of every event at Heritage Prairie Farm is our locally grown produce. As the seasons change, so do our customized events according to what is growing on the farm.

There are so many great happenings throughout the year at Heritage Prairie Farm. From our Farm Dinners and Pizza Nights, to the Plant Sale and the Artisan Craft & Food Fair, we love reaching the community in new and exciting ways.

We are focused on cultivating great food experiences that bring people together to enjoy the best that Mother Nature has to offer. From the bounty of the fields featured inside every menu, to the stunning and serene views of the sunset and grounds, we hope that our events inspire you to connect with nature, the community, and the food.
WEDDINGS & PRIVATE EVENTS
If you're looking for a truly unique outdoor wedding venue in Chicagoland, you'll find it at Heritage Prairie Farm! We've been crafting all-inclusive weddings & private events at the Farm for over ten years, and we continue to expand our services and spaces.
From fully customizable farm-to-table menus, to our in-house design services and rentable décor catalog, you will work with our Wedding Coordinator to stylize your wedding to be uniquely you.
We strive to provide a stress-free experience for you and your guests, so you can kick back and spend time with them while we take care of the rest. At Heritage Prairie Farm, you'll feel at home throughout the entire celebration. Get ready in our farm house loft, or hang outside with your party to play lawn games. Enjoy a sunset bonfire with s'mores while you sip on hand-crafted cocktails. There's lots for your guests to see and enjoy, so visit us for a tour and see for yourself!
